AHAHAAA
My entry for tomorrow’s Creature Compendium, in celebration of the Jubilee this weekend.
Number 19: A royal pedigree.
Fact: not all of the facts in this illustration are facts.
BIGGERING.
Trying to work on presenting a storyboard statically v. presenting it as an animatic (also trying to work on finding a process I’m happy with….).
So…. this is what I was thinking- instead of a slow demise into greed…. what if there was one, precise moment where the once-ler had to make a choice about which way he was going to fall? I figured the “lighting ceremony” of Thneedville (aka turning on the power and zapping of all the natural resources of the area) would be a good place to start.
Characters and “Biggering” (c) Seuss and Illumination Entertainment
Oh man I love all of this but 1:45 -1:51 is particularly wonderful. I love the idea that the Lorax is manifesting as Once-ler’s conscience in this song, as well as actually being there, and that little part with the shadow really makes it explicit.
Huh, this is a really interesting idea, actually. It’s like Amnesia, only you play as a 2-year-old. I definitely think the limitations and advantages of a young child, applied to a horror game… have the potential to make it terrifying.
CRIES
I can’t WAIT for this
I love these kind of games. And it’s such an interesting perspective! 8)

OH wow this is perfect. Your blog is perfect.
[step 1] open your mouth as wide as possible. make sure to stick out your tongue as far as you can, too, since kisses are like, 90% that thing
[step 2] find someone to kiss. you will know they want to kiss because their tongue will also be extended at full length
[step 3] move in for the kill
